About This Game Summary:This is a game with real benefits! You can learn facts about the solar system and science as you play! Planetary Settlers is a family friendly video game about exploring the solar system. Experience realistic gravity as you control Blue 42 on each planet, completing mini games, uncovering secrets, and completing quizzes to enhance your abilities as you explore and help humanity reach out into the solar system!Early Access:Planetary Settlers is playable, with many more features in development, and you have the opportunity to suggest additional features and provide other suggestions to guide the future of the game. I currently have the inner solar system, with a level each for Mercury, Venus, Earth, the Moon, and Mars.Planned updates:Add a level for each of the other planets, as well as Pluto, some of the more notable moons, and more! Add more minigames to each of the existing inner planet levels. Add a leveling system (e.g. more nanites gives more powerful abilities)Add text color customization optionDetails:Planetary Settlers is currently in development. Take control of an advanced AI robot named Blue 42, and explore the vast solar system, to include the different planets and many of the moons. Explore our possible future in the year 2142, with realistic environments based on imagery and data we have gathered on the various planets and moons. Gravity is accurate, when you jump, throw a rock, or fly, you will experience the actual gravity of the planet / moon.Blue 42 has the following features, which can be enhanced through collecting more nanites: Various technologies to shield against the harsh environments of space and various worlds, to include extreme heat, extreme cold, low pressure, high pressure, corrosive chemicals, radiation, and harmful dust. A color customizable light, with adjustable brightness An color customizable projectile generator, a "gravity probe" to see the effect of gravity on each world, and to have fun with. You can even make the projectiles glow a color of your choosing. More nanites allow you to increase velocity Treads, to move along the surface. Can be adjusted to go very fast if you collect enough nanites! Tread jumper - Jumps by launching the treads down quickly (sort of like how a grasshopper hops). Power can be boosted to allow you to leap over a building! Jetpack to fly! Grabber beam to hold and release large objects. Note: It is fun to throw things by grabbing them, running at high velocity, and releasing, or by grabbing, rotating quickly and releasing. This game is being developed first for Windows PCs / laptops, but I plan to expand into other languages and other platforms later. 7aa9394dea Title: Planetary SettlersGenre: Adventure, Indie, Early AccessDeveloper:Leveler GamesPublisher:Leveler GamesRelease Date: 18 Jun, 2017 Planetary Settlers Download Crack Cocaine planet fitness settlers ridge. planetary settlers. planet settlement game. planet fitness settlement The full price is a tad expensive IMO but it was worth it at 75% off.Graphics are amateurish, same for sounds, music is not great. But it is a fun little game overall with the small challenges and quizzes. Pluto Parkour and more!: Challenge and thrill seekers, take note! I have added a new Pluto Parkour mission. Are you up for a real challenge? To get diamond on this mission, fly up near the red question mark, turn your jet pack to 0 (in the abilities tab), and try to complete the mission in under 1:11! This one took me a number of tries to accomplish successfully, and is probably the hardest challenge in the game.Other noteworthy additions: Pluto Cliff Race - A race up the narrow path up the cliff! Can you make it up without falling off? Pluto Targets - Wander around the top of the castle at the edge of the cliff while hitting targets. Once you get all the ones on the castle, jump off the cliff and take aim at the targets below on your way down! Thankfully the low gravity of Pluto along with the snow makes for a gentle landing (unless you happen to land in the factory chimney)! Pluto Quiz - Challenge and expand your knowledge of Pluto and other math / science topics! Bug fix - I fixed up the dialogue in several areas so it no longer repeats when it shouldn't (e.g. "rediscovering" secrets.). More new missions / update!: Now you can do targeting and race mssions on Venus and Mercury (a total of 4 new missions)! I have also fixed some bugs and improved the look of Mercury and Venus. I hope you're not afraid of heights! Fly up to the top of the Mercury tower, where you will find the blue question mark that will trigger the Tower Target Drop, where you walk out onto targets, hit them, and fall down to the next one! Note that you will fall more slowly than normal because the gravity of Mercury is pretty low (only 0.38 G or 38% of that of Earth). If heights aren't your thing, you have many other missions to choose from!. Alien Awakening Continued: A minor update, to where you can now negotiate with the A'kramm. Find a communications terminal at the bottom of their ship. If negotiations go well, you can save the Earth. If they go wrong, Earth could be destroyed! Good luck!Note: I also fixed a few bugs :-). Updated menu and other improvements!: Just released a new update! New features include:- Redesigned menu: now has tabs at the top for character abilities, color customization, and the main tab. This fixes the problem that the menu was too cluttered.- Added options to view the controls for a controller or keyboard and mouse- Now you launch gravity probes from the center from below (e.g. from your chest) vs. far to the right, which helps with accuracy.- Fixed some bugsI am planning on making a new level soon, stay tuned!. Incoming Achievements!: Achievements are coming for Planetary Settlers! You can see what the first five will be already (they are not "active" yet), and I plan to add them in the next update! Even before they are fully implemented, they give some fun goals and help guide game play! I plan to add more achievements as I expand on the game!. First Anniversary!: Today is the first anniversary of Planetary Settlers, and it has been quite the journey so far, filled with some good moments, bad moments, and really funny moments. As a solo indie developer, I thought I would share the highlights of my experience. Here are the highlights over the last year of the good, the bad, and the funny! The Good: I had a lot of fun making the game so far, over the past 3 years. Planetary Settlers was accepted and released for Early Access 1 year ago! Received positive reviews so far It feels great to get my first big time game out there after so much work on it (I have made many smaller games from childhood, but this is my first truly meant for prime time). It feels great to put something out there that can really help people. It is a fun, family friendly game that has the added benefit of teaching about the solar system, based on the Standards of Learning objectives. I believe kids playing this will likely improve their science grades, and that adults will also get a lot of fun and enjoyment out of it. I look forward to adding the remaining levels, adding more features, and polishing it up for full release. I am very thankful for the support of friends, family, go fund me donors, and everyone who bought the game! The Bad: Finances... I had hopes and expectations that I would make a lot of money off this, but I haven't even broken even yet (though I am getting close, not counting development time). I have been hoping Planetary Settlers would supplement our income to help me and my wife get out of debt. We nearly went bankrupt earlier, but have managed to halt our downward spiral, so it isn't all bad. I have hopes that my continued work on this, and full release of Planetary Settlers when it is done will give us that boost we need to get out of debt. Bugs... Like nearly all software, Planetary Settlers hasn't been immune to bugs. The worst bugs so far were: once the initial dialogue for Mars got associated to the Sun level dialogue, and a save game from the Normal Mode slot would occasionally move over to the Free Exploration Mode slot. I implemented fixes for both of those though very quickly after discovery. I have also fixed many lesser bugs, and still have more lesser bugs to fix. That is part of the journey in software development. I haven't had enough reviews to have a review score for Planetary Settlers. Thankfully the reviews received have been positive so far! I haven't met the sales threshold to be able to release trading cards for Planetary Settlers. Enough of the bad, lets move to... the funny! The Funny:I have had a few funny experiences as well: Figured out you can grind up puzzle pieces on Pluto, which kind of hampers your progress. If encountered, you could fix it by restarting the level, but now you get an achievement for trying to do it (in addition to getting your piece back with some funny dialogue)! Puzzle Smoke, don't breathe this! This achievement is in honor of "Will it Blend" which is one of my favorite YouTube series! The Exploding Bed Blooper: I imported a bed (public domain) from TurboSquid. I successfully imported it into the game, and then... I tried to make it physical, with the thinking that it would be neat to be able to pull the pillows off. I also had it really large so I could see the finer details of he bed. Here are the results of that "adventure":Exploding Bed Blooper! Found out that throwing things, particularly furniture, in low G has some rather entertaining results, as shown here:Throwing chair off sky scraper! Yes, there is a subtle "Uranus" joke in the game somewhere, can anyone find it?The Future:For those that have read this far, here's a sneak peek of what I plan to add:- New levels (Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and possibly more!)- New projectiles (paint balls, various sports balls)- New crafting objectives (e.g. craft repair parts, craft projectile factories)- Ability to repair the bases and make them habitable- More achievements- Improved look and feel- Optimized performance- Other languages- Possibly more!. Cloud saves, medals, and more!: Here are my latest updates! I am working hard to have Planetary Settlers ready to make a good first impression in a couple days. Keep in mind that Planetary Settlers is still in Alpha and Early Access, and there will still be some bugs. Please let me know in the community chat if you find any. I am aware of some bugs, and am working to fix them. I have already fixed all the known high priority bugs. Release is in two days, exciting stuff! Implemented and tested Steam cloud saves, so now your save will follow you even if you switch computers! Added in game level medals Fixed some minor bugs (e.g. wrong sound playing on certain parts of the dialogue) Changed the portal mechanic to allow you to teleport with E, or to jump into the portal (contact the wavy part) to teleport. This should avoid accidental teleportation from backing into the portal. Updated the Planetary Settlers Icon Added partial controller support. The controller allows for finer control than the keyboard and mouse. Note that you will still need a mouse to make menu adjustments (like adjusting your speed). I plan to add controller menu support later, it will be difficult to get all the menu items editable via controller.. Collectibles and Elements!: Collectibles and elements have arrived! I have added various collectibles throughout Planetary Settlers! These will be instrumental in crafting, which I plan to add in a future update, so start collecting! Whatever you collect is teleported to the Pluto Element Factory (via a portal mounted on Blue 42) and converted to its basic elements. Check the pause menu - resources tab to see how much of each element you have collected. Collectibles currently include: Ingots - copper, silver, and one hidden gold ingot Diamond rings Air canisters Iron OreAs an added bonus, you will likely become familiar with the periodic table and learn some basic chemistry principles as you play! These are the real elements as we know them.In future updates, I plan to add many more collectibles. I also plan to make it so you can craft upgrades for your robot, craft miner robots, and ultimately create buildings, water, air, and objects to support colonies throughout the solar system!
